Funeral and Memorial Services
All too often, families don't take into account the value that a ceremony brings. Coming together after a loss is a vital part of the grieving process and will help with healing.
Start the Healing
In the early stages of grief, you may think that the faster you get done with any services, the easier it will be. While this may sound good, it is simply not better for your family and you. You must set the stage moving forward by giving your friends and family the opportunity to begin the healing process.
Gathering together with family and friends gives everyone the opportunity to express emotions, share memories, and find support. Whether you choose cremation or burial; whether you select a traditional funeral or a more causal memorial service, the need for friends and family is always present. Let Howe Mortuary help you create a meaningful ceremony to express the unique individuality of your loved one.
Howe Mortuary offer's a beautiful setting in which we can come together to honor your loved one. You can also choose to celebrate their life in any setting you want. No matter where you decide to gather together, any type of service will make a difference in the lives of all the loved ones who attend.
If burial has been chosen, normally any service we design revolves around the casket being present. You can choose to follow normal tradition, with a viewing, and then a funeral service in memorial chapel or funeral service. Or alternatively you could choose to have a more casual service, it could even be inside your home or there favorite place.
Let’s just say this: there is no ‘easy’ formula for honoring your loved one when burial has been chosen. Howe Mortuary is here to listen to your concerns, share our experiences, and help you to arrive at the perfect way to gather together before your loved one's interment at a cemetery.
Cremation only refers to the way in which you or your family member has chosen to deal with the physical remains. At Howe Mortuary, we want you to know that this decision doesn’t limit the ways you can honor your loved one's life. We highly recommend that you have a memorial or funeral service, this allows for a healing experience. The options are limited only by your mind. Howe Mortuary hopes that you will contact us to discuss the celebratory options open to you.
You Can Never Go Back and Do it Over
Some people say it is harsh to remind you of this, but we must because we care. We want you to have no regrets when honoring your loved one and that you did the best you could to honor their life. Creating a ceremony calls together the minds and hearts of all who loved them and is a gift to everybody involved. Give the gift of healing, memories, and peace-of-mind.
